More details through larger sensors

The Insta360 X6 is equipped with dual 1/1.1-inch sensors. This is a big step up from the Insta360 X5's 1/1.28-inch sensors. Thanks to this larger surface area, the sensors absorb more light. This results in brighter shots with less noise. In addition, you can now take extremely detailed 360-degree photos with a resolution of no less than 120 megapixels (42 megapixels per lens), compared to the 72 megapixels of the X5.

Smoother images and sharper flat mode

Where the X5 filmed up to 8K at 30 frames per second in 360 degrees, the X6 captures action images in 8K at 50 frames per second. This makes for significantly more fluid movements. Do you prefer to use the camera as a traditional action cam? Then switch to flat mode. Here you can shoot in a sharp 5.7K resolution at 60 frames per second, or you can create impressive slow-motion images in 4K at 120 frames per second. With the X5, flat mode was still limited to a maximum of 4K at 60 frames per second.

Night shots with PureVideo

For recording at dusk or at night, the X6 has a special PureVideo mode. This mode makes optimal use of the larger sensors and advanced noise reduction. In 360-degree mode, you can film in an 8K resolution with 30 frames per second. This keeps your nightly city rides or campfire moments clear and usable without getting lost in the shadows.

Longer battery life and faster charging

Despite the shorter and lighter housing (only 195 grams compared to the 200 grams of the X5), the X6 houses a more powerful 2600 mAh battery. This allows you to film up to 233 minutes on a full load. In addition, the camera supports PD 3.0 PPS fast charging. With a suitable charger, you can charge the battery to 80% in about 22 minutes and it is fully full again in 33 minutes.

Convenient extras and fast NFC connection

The camera has 47 GB of built-in memory, so you can film instantly without a microSD card being immediately inserted into the device. Transferring files to your smartphone is faster than before thanks to the NFC shortcut. Simply hold your phone's NFC zone against the bottom of the touchscreen to open the Insta360 app and automatically establish the wireless connection.
